Always include your engine model when ordering. The application chart is a good general guide, but matching by model number is the best way to be sure the correct part is ordered. It's also a good idea to include the OEM part number from your old part.
Ignition/electrical parts cannot be returned or exchanged, so it's important to be sure you're ordering the correct part.

Additional Parts Info
Yamaha is fairly new to the CDI Electronics lineup, so many parts that begin with an R will require that you send your old part in for remanufacturing. Parts remanufactured by CDI/Rapair are covered by a one-year warranty.
