CDI ignition modules come with a two-year warranty. Stators, coils, sensors (triggers), rectifiers and "R" part numbers are covered for one year. Exception: Stators that begin with "174-" come with a two-year warranty. Scroll down to the bottom for more important info.

Important Info
Always include your engine model number when ordering, and if possible, also include the part number that's on your part. The chart is a general reference, but your model/serial number is the only way to be 100% sure the correct part is ordered.
Ignition/electrical parts cannot be returned, so it's important to be sure you're ordering the correct part.
Part numbers that begin with an R are remanufactured by CDI Electronics and come with a one year warranty. In some cases, you will need to send your part in for remanufacturing.
174-8778K1 (9 amp) & 174-9710K1 (16 amp) Stators:
These two stators are identical, except for the battery charging output. If you have a voltage regulator with "5279" in the part number, you can use 174-9710K1 ($179). If you only have a rectifier, you'll need to use 174-8778K1 ($175), unless you upgrade the rectifier to a CDI #194-5279 regulator ($115 - 1 year warranty).
174-2075K1 (9 amp) & 174-2075K2 (16 amp) Stators:
These two stators are identical, except for the battery charging output. If you have a voltage regulator with "5279" in the part number, you can use 174-2075K2 ($175). If you only have a rectifier, you'll need to use 174-2075K1 ($175), unless you upgrade the rectifier to a CDI #194-5279 regulator ($115 - 1 year warranty). Note: These stators should only be used with CDM modules. If you have a switch box, use 174-8778K1 or 174-9710K1 instead.
Force 150 Stator and Converter Info:
When replacing a stator or converter on some Force 150 outboards, you have two options.
Option 1 (Recommended): Whether the stator or converter fails, order stator #176-4796K1, which eliminates the need for the converter. It's $209 and comes with a one year warranty.
Option 2 (Not Recommended): If only the stator is defective, you can replace it with the same style stator, part number 174-6231K2, which is $135 and comes with a two-year warranty. This option isn't recommended because when the converter fails, you'll have to replace it with the above stator kit anyway.
