Core value is primarily based on the condition of the drive-shaft, prop-shaft, and housing. You'll receive a shipping label for sending your core in for credit--do not ship a core back without the proper label.
Lower units are shipped without oil! Be sure to use the correct oil and filling technique recommended in your owner's manual.
New gearcases aren't OEM-boxed. They're either re-boxed OEM or assembled with all new parts, depending on availability.
